The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C. S. Lewis is a novel that begins just from a painting of a beautiful ship. As Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace get swallowed up by the painting, they find themselves in the middle of nowhere in Narnia. With the assistance of King Caspian, the three find themselves on a ship, the Dawn Treader with a quest of finding seven missing lords. As the crew on the Dawn Treader try to achieve their mission, they pass by many obstacles that also results to having life lessons. The novel puts the reader into the scene and makes it feel like a real adventure!

ReplyDeleteI never read that book, I only watched the movie. I started to read it, but for some reason stopped:( I think I'll start again, especially after reading this.
